Delete your Spark account
Last updated: 29 September 2026
You can ask us to delete your Spark account and the data associated with it at any time.
How to request deletion
- Email sparkdeveloper040@gmail.com with the subject line “Delete my Spark account”.
- Send it from the email address of the Google account you use to sign in to Spark. If you can’t, tell us that email address in your message so we can find your account.
- We handle deletion requests manually. We will delete your account within 30 days of receiving a valid request and email you when it is done.
Sending the request from the email address linked to your account lets us confirm that the request comes from you. If we cannot confirm this, we may ask you for more information.
Never send us your password, sign-in codes or any other login details. We will never ask for them.
Signing out of Spark, or uninstalling the app, does not delete your account.
What is deleted
- your Spark account and sign-in record, including the email address and Google profile information stored with it;
- your profile: display name and setup answers;
- all your conversations: your messages, the AI characters’ replies, and each conversation’s details and state;
- the technical records of AI requests made during your conversations;
- usage analytics associated with your Spark account in our analytics tool (PostHog), including activity from before you signed in that was linked to your account.
What may be kept
We keep information after deletion only where we are required to by law.
